The company was initially set up under the name of Medical Genome Systems Co., Ltd. to create optimum medical care service using latest medical technologies and data obtained through close relationship with local community. The company changed its name to HuBit Genomix, Inc. in March 2001. |

| Epidemiology study involves long term observation of cohorts, traceable groups of examinees with clear generational structure, in order to analyze the correlation between lifestyle and onset of diseases. In order for the study to be successful, it is extremely important to choose the appropriate cohorts, to obtain data from the cohorts by using the scientifically and ethically appropriate method and to choose appropriate analytical method with high reproducibility and reliability. HuBit has been collaborating with universities, medical institutes and local community to establish a large pool of research cohorts. |
